What path?

For so long it seems I have been unsure of the path...  not just the people or the place, but which path to take.  Tis not my faith that I question.  It is where this journey is taking us... or maybe that is the problem.  Maybe I have gotten so focused on getting where the journey is taking us, that I have forgotten to enjoy the journey.  Maybe I have forgotten that each day is a part of it, with its own lessons.  Maybe I have gotten so lost in trying to see the big picture, that I have forgotten to see everything around me and just live,  I feel like I have been waiting around for life to start once we get to where we're going, that I have forgotten to live now... maybe that is why I feel stuck in repeat.  Maybe I haven't learned to live in the now yet... to live each day's journey to the fullest.  And then see what tomorrow brings.  I think I will start that, Today!

Rain and Back on the Road!

It rained most of  today which was good for keeping the car cool as we drove it down to get fixed.  Chicken feathers, that was what killed the radiator!  It was full of chicken feathers... even after being flushed out 5 times the guy could not get them all out, so he got us a new radiator.  After that was all said and done, these gypsies got back on the road and pushed as far as we could before getting a night's rest.  I wanted to make it to Poteau, OK and see my uncle and aunt, but no... we only made it half way through Arkansas before I am to tired to push onwards...  Going to make a long day of it tomorrow, but the sleep will do me good.

Good-Bye To Summer and BABR!

So, summer is over... I hate to see it gone.  Our bags are packed.  Tomorrow we get on the bus to head back to Knoxville, and from there a big question mark.  We dont know what is in store after summer.  This summer has had such purpose, such focus.  Our life after BABR is nothing but a question mark.  Not that I have minded... living each day focusing on the campers that has been awesome.  Now though, it is back to the "real" world so to speak.

In the morning we get on the bus to start our over 36 hr (not counting layovers) trip home.  Or at least, that was how long the trip here took... After staying put most of 2 months, it is going to be good to stretch these wings and start moving again.  Wonder where the road will take us next?

Broken Wings...

Being a fool for Christ is not that hard, when you have been a fool anyway.   LOL.   Then again, a fool for Christ is a totally different breed of fool.

Living day to day is so strange and new...this is an exciting adventure.   I am now able to slow down and not worry so much.   If I have a job tomorrow, I will.   If love lasts, it will.  If food is here, it is.   I am not as far as I need to be, but it is a start...and wow.  Open road for this gypsy gal is returning soon.

Filling out job apps today.  LOL. We’ll see how that goes… my luck not too far. Also, made a new friend in Robby "Jesus Freak" Nickles... he is a good guy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fallen Angel with broken wings,
The ash clouding thine eyes.
When will the dust settle,
And the ink turn green?
Fallen Angel with broken wings
The ash choking thy song,
When will the air clear,
And  the music ring true?
Fallen Angel now restored,
The ash now flown away,
Now the ink is green,
And the song is true.
Write and praise now,
Thy Holy King.
