Jo and I were coming home from work today when we saw them. Piles and piles of old bricks. Most were of Gallup Brick make, most likely came up the Santa Fe Railroad back in the day. We asked the foreman at the site what they were going to do with them. He said, "Pay to have them haled off. Take as much as you can. The more you take the less we pay." So we filled up the car, drove home, unloaded them, and returned again. In all we took 2 and 1/2 car loads of bricks. Enough to line the garden with real Victorian era bricks.... Awesome!
